Vitamins, Minerals and Supplements to help you with the day after.
Everyone has their own routine to prevent hangovers or get over them quickly the next day. I am a firm believer that prevention is the best method. With that being said please know your limits and stay within your safe range. Always have a designated driver and a plan. If you do indulge a little too much, start drinking electrolytes and water before you go to sleep. Hydrating the night before could prevent some pain the next day.
The next day if you are feeling ill you can try taking a 30c of Nux Vomica. This is a homeopathic medicine that you can get over the counter that really helps with hangovers and has no interactions with any prescription medications.
ACG Glutathione spray can help you prevent headaches and nausea. This works via the Phase II pathway in your liver to help detoxify and start feeling better, faster. (I usually recommend taking this before you head out)
You can always make yourself some ginger tea to help with nausea. Trying some acupressure to alleviate nausea can be beneficial too. We want to activate Pericardium 6 by applying firm pressure, three finger widths, away from your wrist, in the middle of your forearm.
If your New Years resolutions is to lose weight, start eating healthy, or anything of the like please make an appointment with me at the COE. I can gear a meal plan, vitamin strategy, and exercise regiment that is individual to you and your personal needs!
Thank you and have a happy and safe new year!
